Gates:
| West Gate | Manned 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Sunday (Winter) |
| Main Gate | Guests should be directed to enter the community through this gate. Homeowners/residents enter by use of their Smart Pass. |
| East Gate | Homeowners/residents enter by use of Smart Pass ONLY. This is an unmanned entrance and is not to be used by guests and/or vendors. |
Smart Pass:
All homeowner and resident automatic access into Ancala is with the use of a Smart Pass device attached to the windshield of a vehicle registered with the Ancala HOA. Smart Pass devices may be purchased through Paul Weiss at the Main gate. Each pass purchased must be assigned to a vehicle and is registered to an Ancala property recorded in the Quick Pass computer database.
All vehicles have a "sweet spot" on the windshield to place a Smart Pass device. Car dealers know where to place the device. Properly placing the device on the windshield ensures readability.
Best practices to ensure the Smart Pass reader works for you:
- Approach the barrier arm at approximately 5-10 MPH.
- Let the car in front of you proceed through the gate before approaching.
- If the car ahead of you seems to be stuck, stay back or your reader will open the gate for them. They may not be authorized to enter.
- If your Smart Pass does not work at the East or West gates, a homeowner may call the Main gate (451-4701 which is also posted along side the key pad). The Main gate guard will verify resident authorization and give you a unique code to open the gate. This code will only work once and is not valid for future reentries.
- If you are having difficulty with your Smart Pass, check the battery and then contact Paul Weiss at the Main gate.
